Handcrafted Brass statue of Maa Durga. She is depicted in her fierce persona, seated on her Simha vaahana (Lion mount). Seven of her eight arms carry fearsome weapons, but the lowermost right hand is held in Abhayamudra. She is a form of Shakthi, and is a compassionate mother at heart.Durga’s presence in our homes protects us from all evil, as she protected us once from the demon Mahishasura. She instils courage and hope in the hearts of her devotees. Light a lamp to her every Friday evening, with an offering of Jaggery. This will remove all obstacles and bring new opportunities.
